Safeguarding Policy
SKS has a high regard for professional standards, in particular Safeguarding & Child Protection.
With this in mind our Safeguarding & Child protection Policy is particularly important. Additionally, our coaches have undertaken required training. Furthermore, every 12 months the policy is reviewed then updated as required. In addition a full policy review together with renewed version submitted every 3 years. Reviews are undertaken by our Welfare team and accordingly assessed by BMABA. Upon meeting the required standards our policy is issued with the

Another key point is Sport England & BMABA especially provides new information thus frequently keeps our policy updated.
SKS Welfare team includes 3 members. Most importantly they are all independent contacts. Our Lead is Steve King

We are proud having achieved the Sport England standards, which fits within our best practice and professional working ethics. Together with being recognised as a professional safe organisation. As a result our inclusion on Sport England National Database.
