Samurai Kyu grading June 2023 was held at Marshland Hall Dojo. In total 25 students successfully passed new grades. There was some excellent performances through the grades. The hard work and focus to detail over the past months has paid off. As a result today we saw 11 Credit passes and 1 Merit pass. Everyone should be very proud of their achievements.
Outstanding performances in the junior section resulted Merit pass for Leon Merrison at 7th Kyu. Leon has worked really hard on Heian Nidan and the control of Kokutsu Dachi stance.
In the adult section Esmé Taylor in her first grading, achieved a Credit pass for her 10th Kyu.
Todays grading was a display across the grade spectrum. Highlighting the progression between each grade level, as well as the foundation of technique in the beginner grades.

Kyu Grading June 2023

In conclusion the level of spirit and determination shown today was once again amazing. A number of young Karate-Ka that have excellent future potential. As always the effort as well as the focus was very strong. Representing the Samurai way. The effects of which were clearly obvious in the progress made from their previous gradings.
A massive well done to everyone who attended this Kyu Grading June 2022. Along with grateful thanks to our superb coaching team.
