Kyu Grading December 2023

Marshland Hall Hombu Dojo hosted the Samurai Kyu Grading December 2023. The final grading in the 2023 graduation programme saw 12 students achieve new grades.  Its was a delight to see a number of students achieving their grades after an extended period since their last test. It demonstrated a great sense of determination to persevere and overcome challenges. There was some solid performances through the grades. Which clearly demonstrated a good foundation in basic Khion. Achieving  2 Credit passes , 3 Merit pass and a Distinction pass for Abigail Swiderek, showed a good overall level.  Everyone should be very proud of their achievements.

Todays grading was a display across the grade spectrum. Highlighting the progression between each grade level,  as well as the foundation of technique in the beginner grades. Furthermore we have seen the benefit of squad training in the performances and progression of the students.
