Grading March 26th 2022 took place at Marshland Hall Dojo and with 30 students achieving new grades. We had 8 students taking their first grading with the overall standard very good. It was so good to see the foundations forming in our students and the work from our coaches evident in performances. This resulted in 16 Credit passes, 2 Merit passes and 1 Distinction.
In the Junior section Edison Culy 10th Kyu and Seth Angus 10th Kyu produced excellent performances for Merit passes.
The Adult section was just as productive as Antony Culy 9th Kyu produced an outstanding performance to achieve a Distinction pass. We have only awarded 6 distinctions in our 23 years so this was a top effort. Furthermore, Dawn Styles and Kelly Barkley achieved a very good Credit passes at 10th Kyu.

Overall the level of spirt and determination shown today was once again amazing This group of young people have really taken up the challenge that Karate offers. The comment from the grading panel was that we had to look hard for much to critique.
Everyone has worked so hard resulting in these performances and progressions. To see the good foundations of Kihon has been so very pleasing.
A massive well done to everyone who attended this Grading March 26th 2022.
