December Kyu Grading 2022

December Kyu grading 2022 took place at Marshland Hall Dojo. A total of 30 students successfully passed new grades. This was an excellent way to bring a very successful year to a close. There was some excellent performances through the grades. The hard work and focus to detail over the past months has paid off. Such was the level today we saw 7 Credit passes and 10 Merit passes. Everyone should be very proud of their achievements.

Outstanding performances in the junior section resulted Merit passes for, Megan Hardy 10th Kyu, Bella Hubbard 10th Kyu, Michelle Mardyla 10th Kyu, Denis Mardyla 10th Kyu.  All of which were taking their first grading.

The adult section also produced some great results. Antony Cully maintained his high standard with a 7th Kyu Merit pass . likewise the ladies produced  some great results. Dawn Styles 7th Kyu, Lorraine Roberts 3rd Kyu, Moira Hardy 4th Kyu, Donna Shepperson 4th Kyu and Lottie Arnill 5th Kyu all achieved Merit passes.

The ladies have have all worked so hard and overcome many obstacles and are a fabulous example of what self belief can achieve.

Todays grading was a display across the grade spectrum from beginners  to 3rd Kyu. Highlighting the progression between each grade level,  as well as the development of technique.

December Kyu Grading 2022

In conclusion the level of spirt and determination shown today was once again amazing.  A number of young Karate-Ka  that have excellent future potential. Along with some higher grades that have opened doors of potential they never knew they had. As always the effort as well as the focus was very strong.  Representing the Samurai way. The effects of which were clearly obvious in the progress made from their previous gradings.

Everyone has worked so hard resulting in  these performances and progressions. To see the good foundations of Kihon has been so very pleasing.

A massive well done to everyone who attended this December Kyu Grading 2022. Along with grateful thanks to our superb coaching team.
